Bountiful Baskets

A couple months ago I heard about this Bountiful Basket program from a friend from school. So today we decided to check it out.
What it is...is you sign-up online at bountifulbaskets.org to order things like fresh fruits and vegetables, mexican, chinese, tortillas and bread packs
for almost half the cost. (only Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Washington have it... sorry Oregon friends) So I've been online waiting for a place near us that was worth the drive. We ended up paying $20 for $40 worth in fresh fruits and vegetables, and it will help us eat a little healthier, hopefully.

Here is all the goods!

They do it every week but were probably good for the next 3 weeks!
Everytime you get something different.
This week we received lettuce, celery, cilantro, tomatillos, green onions, bananas, apples, tomatoes, potatoes, avocados (my favorite), pineapple, garlic, limes, white onions, spinach, sweet chard (I have no idea what this is or how to use it, if you have any suggestions that would be great!)

That looks fantastic! Maybe you could go in half with another couple and then it would cost 10 dollars a week and you would not have to worry about not being able to eat everything before it goes bad;)
